The combination of Laser Light combined with Levulan Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) is a simple two step procedure that is good not only for acne, but is also an excellent and effective treatment for removal of sun damaged, pre-cancerous zones and actinic keratosis. This treatment is also helpful for improving fine lines, blotchy pigmentation and acne pit scars.
This treatment is gentle and safe for all skin types. Shortly after treatment, you will likely feel a sensation similar to a mild sun burn. Your skin will feel tight and may peel after 2 or 3 days. We typically recommend a series of 3 to 5 treatments, at 4 week intervals, to see tangible results quickly.
